River Lodge

Set on an expansive grassy slope overlooking a glacial river in southern Iceland, this 3-bedroom chalet evokes the rustic spirit of Iceland’s past while elevating your experience with contemporary luxe amenities. In the summer, the lush meadows that surround the villa provide peace, privacy and respite, while in the winter they take on a fairytale appearance as they are enveloped in a pristine blanket of snow. The home’s ground floor features two large bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bathroom, a cozy living room with a wood burning fireplace, a dining room for revelrous meals and a modern state-of-the-art kitchen which can be used for self-catering or for booking a private chef. The second floor features a third bedroom. This private home is the ideal basecamp for exploring southern Iceland’s fascinating natural wonders, including the famous black sand beaches and the Katla volcano which slumbers under the Mýrdalsjökull icecap. 

Hvitarnes Villa

Enveloped by views of distant hills and mountains, this modern architectural gem is located a short drive from Þingvellir National Park and is an ideal location for exploring the major sights of the Golden Circle and beyond. The contemporary interior design is both comfortable and luxe, with large windows showcasing the surrounding Icelandic wilderness.  An open floor plan homes a state-of-the-art kitchen, large dining table and sumptuous living room for fun gatherings and meals. All five bedrooms are located on the top floor and each decorated in cozy, chic Nordic design. Three bedrooms include en-suite bathrooms, while two additional bathrooms can be found on either floor. An elevator provides easy access between floors. Unwind in the hot tub, the indoor pool or the outdoor sauna which is enclosed for enjoyment year-round. Other elevated amenities include a hobby room with pool tables, home theater, fitness center, and a private massage room where treatments can be arranged on request. 

Dalur Resort

The 1,000-hectare Dalur estate is tucked into the Snæfellsnes Peninsula and is flanked by the dramatic cliffs of the Elliðatindar mountain range, cool lakes, ancient rivers, lava fields and hot springs. This historical farmhouse and its outbuildings date back to the turn-of-the-century and have been lovingly restored to seamlessly meld its heritage with modern Nordic design. The main house features a Scandinavian sauna, large modern kitchen with chef station, expansive lounge areas, a cold plunge pool and an outdoor geothermal pool. A large games room houses a fitness center, bar, pool table and tennis table, Sonos speakers, lounge and barbeque. Two stand-alone suites are situated close to the main house: The newly renovated Stable Suite has vaulted ceilings, a mezzanine bedroom, living area and private terrace. The Ram Suite is a converted barn with vaulted ceilings, an organic lava wall, deep soaking tub, living area and kitchenette. Welcome to Icelandic living at its finest.

Meaning “the mountain pass”, Kleif Farm sits nestled in the Icelandic mountains surrounded by beautiful peaks, just 35 minutes from Reykjavík. This warm, cozy home is the ancestral home of Erla and Oli whose aim is to introduce visiting guests to the authentic side of Iceland while providing elevated amenities. Each of the five bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom; three bedrooms are quite spacious while two are more intimate. Kleif Farm evokes the essence of intentional, laid back Icelandic lifestyle with interiors that are cozy yet modern. Take in spectacular views from the outdoor bath, or gather near the fireplace with loved ones in the living area after sharing a fantastic meal. Within a short drive, guests can embark on day trips into Reykjavík to explore the country’s vibrant capital. 

Langarfossar villa

Venture to the remote countryside of western Iceland near the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, where Langarfossar Villa seamlessly melds country living with stunning modern design. This architectural gem boasts distant views of Hafnarfjall mountain and the serene Urridaa river. This expansive private home is ideal for multigenerational escapes or large parties, with sleeping space for up to 12 guests. A two-floor living room has plenty of space for lounging and socializing and has an open floor plan into the fully-appointed kitchen and chic dining room that can seat up to 13 people. Langarfossar Villa houses six bedrooms, five of which have double beds and ensuite bathrooms and one of which has two twin beds. Many bedrooms have skylights for basking in natural light during the summer or sleeping beneath a blanket of stars in the cooler months. The magnificent master bedroom has a private terrace with breathtaking views and seating for enjoying a morning coffee.
